A Man In A Cave

The problem I have with the infinite divine

Is that I imagine there is no place to stand

No place to hide

I like the familiar ground here in the back of my cave

Swapping lies with my friends

Telling each other what we want to hear

Telling each other how good we’re doing

How good we look

Even so, I can’t shake this feeling

That there must be something more
